ToneLatch Terms of Service

1. About Logic & Light

ToneLatch is developed and published by Logic & Light. These terms govern your use of ToneLatch and form a legal agreement between you and Logic & Light.

2. License to use the app

Subject to the plan or license that applies to your copy, Logic & Light grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use ToneLatch for lawful personal or business photography workflows.

3. What the app is for

ToneLatch is a desktop utility for converting supported RAW plus JPEG pairs into Ultra HDR JPEG outputs while preserving the camera-rendered JPEG as the base image. It is not a general-purpose photo editor, archival system, or cloud service.

4. License scope and activations

The launch perpetual license is for version 1 of the app and includes 1.x bug fixes and minor updates. It allows one active Mac at a time. If you move to a new Mac, you may deactivate the old one first. If the old Mac is unavailable, support may manually reset the activation.

5. Trial and refunds

The free trial allows up to 25 successful processed pairs. Paid purchases are covered by a 14-day refund window. Additional refund details are described in the refund policy.

6. Restrictions

• You may not resell, sublicense, or redistribute the app unless explicitly permitted.
• You may not remove copyright or license notices.
• You may not use the app in a way that violates law or third-party rights.
• You may not misrepresent the app as affiliated with or endorsed by camera makers, software vendors, or platform owners.

7. Your files and output

You remain responsible for the files you process and the outputs you export, including copyright, privacy, metadata, delivery, and compatibility choices for your workflow.

8. Payment processing

ToneLatch purchases are processed by Paddle.com Market Limited ("Paddle"), which acts as the Merchant of Record for all transactions. Paddle handles payment processing, currency conversion, sales tax, and invoicing on behalf of Logic & Light. By completing a purchase, you also agree to Paddle's Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.

9. No affiliation

ToneLatch is an independent product by Logic & Light. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by Fujifilm, Ricoh, Google, Apple, Adobe, Leica, or other camera, software, or platform brands referenced for compatibility purposes.

10. Warranty disclaimer

The app is provided "as is" and "as available" to the maximum extent permitted by law, without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or uninterrupted operation.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Logic & Light is not liable for lost profits, lost data, business interruption, or consequential damages arising from use of the app or exported files.

12. Changes to these terms

Logic & Light may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
